Laws to prevent animal abuse may well exist. But crimes against animals continue to see a disturbing spike. Enforcement of laws is also negated by ignorance, laziness and entitled officials who abuse their powers and prioritise convenience over compassion. Our animals are unable to express their stories of pain. It is up to us Malaysians to rise and vehemently denounce cruelty! We will not allow the breeding of hate and prejudice to continue against our animals. We will execute our rights as decent humans to rightfully call out and report on animal abusers!
